The Szilassi polyhedron is a seven-sided torus where every face is in contact with all of the other faces, proving that for toroidal topology, 7 different colours are required for a surface map.

This simple little shape is a mathematical curiosity, designed to demonstrate colour printing on the sandstone material. It is also a handy filler for topping those orders up to $25.

PLEASE NOTE:
Following changes to the minimum size requirements for some materials, this model was no longer printable. Consequently, I have now increased the size of the model from 2.5 cm to 4 cm in order to make it printable again.

These are 3 interlocked links. Brunnian means that even though the 3 ellipses are interlocked, no two of them are linked (in other words, remove just one ellipse and the two other ones will fall apart). They stand in 3 perpendicular plans and measure 3.5cm.
SUCCESSFULLY PRINTED.

This is a pair of heart shaped gears. You can see the movie to find how does it works. The gear is basically a non-circular gear (NCG) .

When you look at the shape of a heart, you will find that there is a tip and a pit. "they can match", when the idea flashed through my mind, I realize that I can design a pair of gears with same heart shape(I'm major in mechanical engineering), and here is it, a pair of eardrops(without hooks).

I think it is a good idea to give such a gift to your lover. It is a perfect annotation of "My heart follows you".

If you want the gears turn like in the video, you need to order the axis pair and drill two d=2mm holes of distance = 16.5mm on a base by yourself.

Six sided die with ball bearings (1-6) on each side. With a .25mm clearance around the balls they should all move freely. Slightly smaller version, by request, but I couldn't make it much smaller without getting a little too close to the minimum space needed for moving parts. They're wedged in there pretty tight so you'll need to take some time and break them loose.

The GEB models are a tribute to the shapes featured on the cover of Douglas Hofstadter's book "Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid". These "trip-lets" come in two different shapes for the upper and the lower position and in three sizes. High-resolution pictures can be found at http://flic.kr/p/5StVjJ, http://flic.kr/p/5TfkzR, and http://flic.kr/p/5WdB79. This particular one is the upper piece and with 3x3x3 cm the medium size. Its counterpart is http://www.shapeways.com/model/17221/g_e_b_lower__3x3x3_.html.

## THIS MODEL IS UNTESTED, ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK ##

A friend of mine asked for this type of part for use when displaying his mini-figures. The idea being that the figure could be solidly pegged into a platform but still be positioned as if walking. Ideally he wanted the part in transparent but I'm sure that builders could come up with all other sorts of uses for this part.

The part has two openings so that one way you will have a 30º slope but if you plug it in the other way you get a 60º slope.

I have yet to test this part but my measurements are exact to within 0.01mm

Enjoy :)

$if you plan on ordering multiple items of mine, contact me first and I can group them into a single order to save you a few dollars.$

A lot of glass objects are organic and smoothly flowing. But 3D printing creates new opportunities, and I wanted to make some designs that showed the potential of the material to be edgy, crystalline, and eye-catching. "Ice", a design in 3 styles, is the result of that. Based on a three dimensional tessellation inspired by the crystalline structure of ice, these objects are all near the maximum size of glass sculpture printable, yet still reasonably affordable as desk art or one-of-a-kind gifts. The frosted style explores the full complexity of the medium, and is available in a variety of other materials in addition to glass.

Geared D6

This D6 has its pips replaced by gears. The gears should all turn when you move one.
Dimensions are 3 x 3 x 3 cm. The thickness is only 1 mm. Specially designed for Frosted Detail.

See also its shell available in a wider range of materials.

More information in this thread.

It arrived! Warning: NOT FULLY FUNCTIONAL! I found a problem in the design, so I will fix it quickly.

See a video in CG rendering.
See the video of the first prototype in Frosted Ultra Detail.

This ring has three instead of two openings. It is just fun to play around with it and looks stunning even just on the beside table.

Please note that this ring will fit a normal 17mm ring size. Measure the inside of a ring that fits you to be sure.

The "strong and flexible" polyamide might have to be sanded with a fine sandpaper. If you order other material, please post your opinion.
