This is the "typical Senator Shuttle" that can be seen on any Space Opera dogfighting game. The Model doesn't include the base, but it has the proper hole to use anything for basing, and have space saving holes below to make it cheaper (less plastic used). The Shuttle is a 3.3 inch long (8,5 cm) so it will fit perfectly the scale of your other starfighters!! THIS MODEL IS VERSION 2. WHICH MEANS IT HAS IMPROVEMENTS, Overall volume has been reduced about 35%-40% to make it cheaper but yet being 5cm longer!, and the model is far much closer to the shape it should be, with better details and better looking.

The chief attack ship and interceptor of the Terran Navy, based on the older Sun Viper interceptor but with two extra wings and engines and a second turret for serious defense. Able to perform as both interceptor and bomber, the crews call them "XY" or androgynous ships. The wings look better on the miniature you will receive!

***UPDATE*** shapeways found an issue with the laser emitters (see pictures above) which caused a couple of orders of this model in frosted detail to be cancelled and refunded. My apologies if this caused any inconvenience. I have now fixed that issue, also added more detail, optimised it further and dropped the price. Thanks for your support:) any comments, suggestions q's feel free to comment below.

Additional: (15/03/2013) Due to an issue with a 'drainage hole' being marginally too small, shapeways have rejected a couple of prints ordered, specifically only in WSF. I have updated the model with a slightly widened hole which does not impact the look of the model (see the rotating 3d preview) if you've had a WSF order cancelled (other materials seem fine) feel free to order again, apologies for the delay.

Phalanx Battlesuit system: Every suit is equipped with an ion cannon that can fire short bursts or a maximum power anti-armor shot. In case of close-combat the heavy flamer is able to counter lightly armored enemy's. The entire system revolves around the combination with 4 shield drones that form a vectored shield infront of the battlesuit, thus protecting it against incomming fire while its still able to shoot at the enemy. Multiple battlesuits can form a phalanx formation were the shields are linked together to form one destructive battleline
- Model is around 7,5 cm high and fits into model wargames.
