This version of the Time Keeper has been thickened to survive production in Sandstone material, but it's still below the minimum wall thickness. I have been making these myself, and I've made more than 100 unique versions so far. You can buy them on Etsy here: Fleeting Time Keeper. The video below shows the production process.

A hollow spike ball about an inch wide, including the concavely tapered spikes. This item is not polished due to the fine features, so it has an interesting, gritty texture. It has a small loop hole on one side to allow you to thread it onto a necklace or lanyard.

This model is a piece of a sculpture. It is designed to lock into holes on another model, but also looks interesting by itself. UPDATE: recently doubled in size to ensure better results in stainless steel.

One of the headpieces I created for Halloween 2010. This model is based on a 3D scan of my head to ensure a perfect fit, but it also fit well for everyone else who tried it.

This device sits on your Next Engine scanning platform to help you get the best quality scans. It works by providing extra geometry to increase alignment accuracy. This is especially useful for scanning objects that have a very regular shape like a sphere or a cylinder. It also helps with manual alignment by giving you recognizable reference points. This version has been volume-optimized for the lowest price. If you have your own 3D-printer you can download a solid version of the tracker for free at Thingiverse.com Here.

See my blog for usage instructions: 40westdesigns.com/blog.
