I revised the Christmas Ornament RBS to have just a little more slope. I'm hoping it's enough to have the marble roll without problem. I added a few new things. This one has a circular base so that it should stand on its own. I also beefed up the frame to make it more durable. There's less rungs and a few more braces. I will have to print it and test it. If you just want one even though it hasn't been tested, please feel free to order but you're on your own. http://www.rollingballsculpture.net

Let this dodecahedron ornament be the star of your holidays! The gravity well on each side seems to be pulling the stars inward.

This holiday ornament features circles tapering and bending across different axes, converging to a central point. Lightweight, inexpensive, and unique.

EDIT: Apparently there have been some problems printing this that didn't crop up when I printed a bunch of them last year. I guess the design standards changed since then. I have updated the file to reduce the chance that the model will be rejected again.

The inner openwork of this ornament spins freely on two axles! Part of the new 2012 collection of ornaments themed around movement and shifting forms.

If the motion isn't smooth enough for your tastes, go to a hobby or home improvement shop and find some powdered graphite lubricant. It comes in little tubes for about $2. Just put a bit in the axle wells and it should spin much more easily.
