Oslo Ceramic Coaster No.1 of 6

Set of 6 Cermic Coasters, produced and available through Shapeways. 

This project started with my fascination for city grids, from the strict geometry of New York to the seemingly chaotic Bombay layout. At the time, living abroad and a bit homesick, I decided to use the map of Oslo as a starting point for my Oslo Coasters. I picked 6 different areas in Oslo that represents different memories for me and created these products based on the city grid. The can be used seperatly or together.

The word ‘deer' once referred to all wild animals that weren’t easily caught or domesticated – they are animals that can not be owned. O. virginianus is native to the continent America. Native Americans and early settlers utilized their hides to make buckskin leather.

Deer possess many glands that allow them to produce scents that are used to attract a mate or to mark territory. Some of these scents are detectable by humans and have been used for thousands of years as a fixative in perfumes; The word ‘musk’ originates from Sanskrit muṣká meaning ‘testicle’.

The rings band is only around 1.5 mm thick for wearing comfort.

cup volume approximately 60ml. Teeth and eyes of snake are not as detailed as in 3D model because of the glazing but they are sufficiently detailed (for my opinion).

This is a waistband/ceinture I made for the DDW competition.
Length: 74cm, Width: 5,5cm.
Please beware that it looks wider in the renders because it is rolled up more than it would be if you wear it. This was done to fit it in the printer (SLS).

*Please note that I'm keeping the price of this listing lower than my Etsy listings due to the case not having varnish for extra color protection. I highly recommend at least one coat of non-toxic polyurethane varnish (or something similar) so that the color can last through everyday use.*

Multiple prints from this file have been tested on my iPhone 4, fit very well and my own case has withstood my abuse immaculately.

I designed it for easy access to all buttons, ports and controls.

The colors available are what Shapeways currently offers.

*White cases I'm offering in the polished, since it's easier to clean than the textured white. Still be aware that the white is very white, and that anything with color or dye that comes into contact with it may not be easy to remove.

*Only the cases I sell on my Etsy.com listings have a clear varnish added for extra protection of the color and are tried on my iPhone 4 prior to shipment. However, I'm going to only have a limited amount with limited colors each month on Etsy since dyeing and varnishing is quite time intensive.
