A sculpture. Contrary to popular belief, it is not an algorithmic object.

I created the skeleton of a skeletal Lepidoptera. The Death's Head Hawkmoth (Acherontia atropos), seen on The Silence of the Lambs , has a skull marking on its back. I made a full human-like bone structure for the moth, with the grinning skull protruding from its back.

The model is very thin, yet sturdy and flexible. Detail level is fantastic, and the natural texture of the 3d printing process gives it a bone-like appearance that works wonders.

Yes, moths don't have endoskeletons, that's the whole point...

Reminiscent of Victorian filigree, this unique Designer iPhone 4 case is a durable and stylish alternative to mass produced cases on the market today. This is my newest design update! Now much more interchangeable this puzzle connection design is also more stylized and easier to put on and take off.

*Please note that I'm keeping the price of this listing lower than my Etsy listings due to the case not having varnish for extra color protection. I highly recommend at least one coat of non-toxic polyurethane varnish (or something similar) so that the color can last through everyday use.*

Multiple prints from this file have been tested on my iPhone 4, fit very well and my own case has withstood my abuse immaculately.

I designed it for easy access to all buttons, ports and controls.

The colors available are what Shapeways currently offers.

*White cases I'm offering in the polished, since it's easier to clean than the textured white. Still be aware that the white is very white, and that anything with color or dye that comes into contact with it may not be easy to remove.

*Make sure when you receive your case you note that the front puzzle pieces together and should be undone first when taking off the case.

*Only the cases I sell on my Etsy.com listings have a clear varnish added for extra protection of the color and are tried on my iPhone 4 prior to shipment. However, I'm going to only have a limited amount with limited colors each month on Etsy since dyeing and varnishing is quite time intensive.

Members of the class cephalopoda are carnivorous hunters. They have the most advanced nervous system of all invertebrate animals and are an important example of advanced cognitive evolution in animals.

O. vulgaris is the most studied of all octopus species and possesses excellent eyesight, capable of distinguishing shapes, textures, and colour. It is the only animal which has been conclusively shown to use tools, and is proficient at learning simple processes such as unscrewing a jar.

Cephalopods are able to release dark pigment into the water as an escape mechanism, which in the past has been extracted and used by humans as an ink or dye. The word sepia comes from the Latin word for cuttlefish, s?pía.

A delightful surface: the gyroid put through a simple inverse transformation. It's ellipsoidal on the outside, and there is a sphere taken out of the center, which is difficult to see; for otherwise it would be infinitely tiny inside, and therefore unprintable.

This Voronoi network has the symmetry of a snub dodecahedron...almost. It is my homage to the wonderful diatoms of the world.

Phamora Ceramics!

Is inside out? Or is it not? Perhaps both?
This is an Amphora from another space-time.
An ancient object which we knew had to exist.
And after years of excavation in other dimensions we finally found it!

A very exotic vase with a unique near-impossible shape, suitable for use with dry flowers and striking enough to stand alone.
Theoretically it can also hold water in the toroidal bottom part, read practical details below.

Very suitable as a wedding gift to symbolize love and infinity.
The number eight (or sideways infinity) plays an important role in this piece,
both in the number of arms and the cross-section of this model.


Notes:
To improve print quality and after some deliberation with production, this model has been slightly updated on August 24th 2012; The arms have been thickened and the holes enlarged to improve strength and glazing.
Still I recommend not to put a lot of stress on the handles.

The bottom it stands on, is unglazed, which is invisible during normal display.
All clearly visible parts will be fully glazed, but there is a chance some parts on in the inside might not, which may compromise it's ability to hold water.
While production does their absolute best and all recent prints turned out perfectly glazed and hold water, due to the complexities involved, there is no 100% guarantee for to be absolutely watertight.

This little planter has been hit by a shrink ray! No, just kidding, it's based on the design of another one, but is 40% smaller. With this miniature wearable planter, you can carry a small plant or a small flower with you on your day's adventures. The much smaller size allows the production process to use considerably less plastic, which translates to a much smaller price. Unlike it's larger older sister, this wearable planter is made of an acrylic polymer. This material has a beautiful smooth finish and does not need to be painted like other necklaces I make that are made out of nylon. The material is inherently watertight as well! Like the other wearable planters, this one is created with the same modeling software and on the same style of 3d printer. This planter is an experiment with scale. It is made of the same acrylic polymer as the translucent planters, but is a much smaller size. This material is watertight, and acts as a perfect vase to carry a bud or a sprout on your day's adventures. This chess set re-imagines the bodies of the traditional chess pieces to incorporate each piece's name as the focal point of their design. It should be noted that each color/material must be ordered separately. This does, however allow for mixing and matching.

I'm experimenting with telling a story using minimal material to save on printing cost while inspiring the imagination. The Zebra head works well, I've concentrated on only printing the black parts leaving the white empty. It is available in BSF  and WSF.  Both materials tell a different story.

A self-referential tessellation of the sphere.

This is a little delicate as the lines are 1.5mm thick, but it seems sturdy enough.

These filigree earrings look delicate almost like lace, yet are flexible and very resilient and should last you a life time assuming a monkey doesn't eat them. They are so light that you wouldn't even know you are wearing them.

A LEGO scaled version of the Master Sword, a blade featured in The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Note: The hilt was altered slightly to look more like the original, hence it looks different on the new renders.
