Rolo50@bookbuderic2010 Thanks for a great idea. I played a little and learned something -> First I just made a grouping of six; this shaved only 2 cents off the actual cost of each. I then added a little bridge between two frames that effectively make it one part of interlocking pieces. This saves $1.05 off the cost of each! -Rolo

Rolo50 Thank you for your comment rhaithe - I'm glad you like the frames. Unfortunately, 3d printing just can't compare with normal mass production when it comes to cost ( at least not yet! ). But it does provide a means to get something completely unique. My markup on these frames is 88 cents - that's less than 20%. Certainly lower than normal retail markup. I do feel your pain. I'd like to have more of the things I create! After all, most of the things I make are for myself or my friends. Maybe in the coming years we'll be able to buy a unique, custom made 3d printed object at close to the cost of something made in China by the millions. Until then, I'll enjoy what my budget will allow. -Rolo
