The sign of the Deathly Hallows is a combination of three symbols, the vertical line represents the Elder Wand, the circle represents the Resurrection Stone, and the triangle represents the Cloak of Invisibility.

An incredibly talented artist friend of mine (Chantell Hager; http://phantasyfaces.com/) drew some pictures of a dragon for me, so I might model this creature in 3D for fun and practice. Seeing as how it is a decently cool model, I thought I'd surprise her with a pendant of the model in return. This is a slight revision on my first Shapeways model. Some of the details that I had designed into the model were too small to show up in this size, so I revised the model to accentuate some of those features.

Higher resolution version of the firebug model. Shapeways can't print this, but you can make one for yourself on any home printer. Here's the file: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11683 - now why don't you get yourself a printer and start making things?

Shapeways recently (Aug 12, 2011) started rejecting this model because it is "unprintable" ... despite having printed it successfully in the past.
Obviously this is not true (See photo above), and it seems this was an aesthetic rather than technical rejection.
Based on suggestions from the Shapeways staff, the design has been revised again to follow the new design rules. The rejections have continued, however, and according to Shapeways staff it is a matter of "luck" to get a model past some reviewers and into the printer. Fun times.
On a suggestion from other frustrated Shapeways designers, I've set up an i.materialise store. see: ______
