A small bulk freight hauler for the low-traffic space lanes.

A detailed full color model of each of the planets, gas giants, and major moons of the Solar system, to (logrithmic) scale.
This set includes the 20 largest objects in the solar system (bar the sun).
All surfaces are reproduced from NASA imaging.

For size reference, Jupiter is 25mm (1 inch) diameter, and Earth is 12.76mm (1/2 inch) diameter.

This set is designed for use in orrery or other models of the solar system, and so to best present all planets while preserving scale, the scale has been compressed - a logrithmic scale instead of a linear scale. This means that if the model of a moon of Jupiter is larger than the model of Mercury but smaller than Mars, then you know that the real moon really is larger than Mercury and smaller than Mars, But the size diference is compressed - Jupiter, which is really more than ten times Earth's diameter, becomes only twice Earth's diameter, etc. This logrithmic scale allows all planets to be clearly visible together, while at the same time still indicating their sizes relative to each other.

All objects have a 1.6mm (1/16th inch) hole at the south pole, for a brass axle (or a toothpick).

What color is a planet - is it color of its surface materials, or the colour of its atmosphere from space, or the color of the surface being colored by the atmosphere filtering light from the sun? The appearance in this set attempts to be that of the surface with moderate atmospheric influence, (with the gas giants depicted as the atmosphere and surface being the same thing). For example, this means that Venus depicts the features of its surface, but they are tinted somewhat by its atmosphere. Similarly, Earth and Titan show ground features, but some areas are tinted and obscured by atmosphere.

In areas where the model surface is more detailed than the most detailed NASA photography (such as Pluto), the overall surface appearance conforms to what is known, but finer textural details are speculative. (Or, if there is an atmosphere, it is shown as particularly thick and opaque over the unmapped area.)

*Due to hard limitations of the Shapeways production, these minor moons are sharing the same surface map. They were chosen because they have a similar surface, and/or their surface is largely unknown.
**For the same reason, Pluto and Triton, which have a similar icy surface and not much photographic detail known, also share their surface map.
(The alternative was to not include those moons)

The chief attack ship and interceptor of the Terran Navy, based on the older Sun Viper interceptor but with two extra wings and engines and a second turret for serious defense. Able to perform as both interceptor and bomber, the crews call them "XY" or androgynous ships. The wings look better on the miniature you will receive!

This is a hollow version. Very accurate representation. It is 3.0 inches in diameter. There is a very small hole at the bottom. Can be easily filled with epoxy and painted over white. It's white there because there is snow there. View in 3D and hold the up/down arrows and you'll see the hole come around. View my store for a solid and smaller version.

I just updated the design to be a bit thicker to allow the printing process to be more successful.  Apologies to those who tried to print this recently and it failed.  It did print before, but it was difficult to get finished, so I've had to increase the wall thickness.  Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Powerful hand-held acid blaster rifle converts into a 56mm robot action figure with 9 points of articulation.

Gun mode comes with a choice of four handles, any one of which can be fit onto the figure during assembly (and since they are attached via a simple clip-in hinge, you can keep the others handy and swap them later if you choose).
Option 1 is a standard 5mm post, which is compatible with any figure bearing a 5mm peg hole.
Options 2 and 3 are modified versions of the post, which can still be used by figures with 5mm peg holes, but also have built-in clips which allow them to clip onto any 3mm diameter rail. One version has the opening of the clip positioned parallel to the length of the gun, the other perpendicular.
Option 4 is a two-stage post, which like Option 1, can fit into any 5mm peg hole, but also has a narrowed end allowing it to be used by figures with 4mm diameter peg holes.

This new version of the Truncheon figure has more open hands, which allow it to hold or clip onto any 3mm diameter rod.
It also has a new hinge design which allow it to be printed in the Detail materials as well as WSF. However, WSF Polished is recommended for the best combination of durability and smoothness.

Supplied as an 18-piece kit. Finishing (painting/dyeing) required, alternatively can be purchased in one of the available pre-dyed colours.

Hawkings Astronautics HAM-117 Scarab Attack Cutter

The HAM-117 Scarab Attack Cutter is a common sight in SSA forces, with its distinctive beetle-shape and "ruff" of sensor masts just behind the bridge. The Scarab's durability is considerable for it's size, carrying heavy shields with thick diamium hull plating. Combined with its high speed and agility - as much as many much smaller bombers - the Scarab can survive long enough for the cumulative effect of it's weapons to cause severe damage, even to much larger vessels. The price is that Scarabs carry only a modest weapon load. The primary weapons are two forward astroburster cannons. A rotary tri-barreled particle pellet gun is mounted either side of the bridge in a ball turret, providing anti-fighter and anti-missile protection. These are supplemented by several light hyper-rays blisters to provide coverage in the aft arcs.

Scarabs work in small groups, closing to point-blank range and using wolf-pack tactics to eliminate enemy vessels.

Each time a model is printed Shapeways does a manual check. At times the second, third, or later check reveals a problem that was not flagged earlier. When I am notified of a problem I remove the model for sale and correct the flagged problems, then place it back on sale. Unfortunately there is no mechanism that allows me to make the changes prior to Shapeways cancelling the customer’s order. I apologize to any customer who has an order cancelled and continually work to improve the designs I offer for sale.

The Mark IV Sentry Turret is an automated defence system for anti-infantry and anti-vehicle operations. It is armed with twin plasmatic repeater cannons and has limited shielding.

A set of cannons designed for use with the Breacher Scout Class figure. The cannons can be shoulder-mounted or handheld and equip onto the side of the vehicle mode.

"A special operations variant of Breacher's cannon, Valipha delivered energy bolts silently. The cannon switched power for speed, with a camera lens disguised as a scope to ensure every bolt went straight.

Add in a missile launcher capable of firing twin missiles simultaneously and Valipha morphed into artillery, letting it rain warheads.

Valipha disguised one last feature. The back of the cannon didn't store ammunition, nor did it weigh enough to act as a bludgeoning tool. It held a c-clip, changing Valipha into a handheld blaster. Sacrificing accuracy for the freedom to fire in all directions, Valipha's handheld form was suited to close up fights, where aim wasn't such an issue."

Each order of Valipha includes two cannons for Scout Class Breacher. The cannons attach to Breacher as shoulder-mounted weapons in robot mode, and to the side of his vehicle mode for added firepower.

This is a set of 20 15mm-scale jetpacks, which can also be used for UAVs in 15mm or 10mm games, or futuristic aircraft in 6mm-scale games. The figure is shown only for scale and is not part of the product.

Four 15mm scale Moisture Collector Units for arid, terra-formed planets. The models have a small hole in the top to add a 1mm diameter wire or plastic rod (shown in the painted photo) - this isn't part of the model because it wouldn't survive the polishing process.

This has been requested by a 1/144 modeller. The cost of a complete Crawler assembly at this scale is very expensive, so I was requested to produce only the Crawler unit. Even at 1/144 scale, the track module is 90mm long by 50mm wide. This version has the tracks fitted, but I can create one without tracks if required. I will always create a set of four of these if wanted. Please contact me.
