Built in 1912 at the Pennsylvania Railroad Altoona shops, the prototype battery-powered tractors served the Pennsylvania Railroad in Baltimore, MD and Jersey City, NJ, moving box cars in narrow city streets where standard locomotives could not be used. This model represents the switcher as it appeared from about the late 1920s to the early 1950s. The switchers before and after this time period featured different wheels and tires. Modifications in the mid-1950s also included conversion from electric to gas, when a large exhaust pipe was added to the roof. De NS-locserie 2200 is een serie dieselelektrische locomotieven die vanaf 1955 werd ingezet door de Nederlandse Spoorwegen. In het begin van de jaren vijftig besloot de NS dat de nog resterende stoomlocomotieven binnen enkele jaren vervangen zouden moeten worden. Hiertoe werden 280 diesellocomotieven besteld, die verdeeld over de series 2200 en 2400, er toe bijdroegen dat de laatste stoomlocomotief in januari 1958 buiten dienst gesteld kon worden.

This was a personal project, not meant for anyone to want to order, except maybe friends. The body mostly intersects with the frame and name, giving it strength to carry around.

I figure it's a pretty neat color print, so I'll leave it so you guys can see photos of it. For the size, the cost was very cheap considering size. The frame has a thickness of a pencil and is solid. Parts of the body and tail are hollow.
