You can now modify the Heller Ariane 4 kit inot an Ariane 3: I've created the third stage, fairing and solid boosters for Ariane 3 - http://shpws.me/PIZc
Hobbes010 In 1/48, the Dragon would cost in the region of €175. Other parts have similar price increases in that scale. (say 10x the price of a 1/144 part)
Hobbes010@cschlemm: No, not yet. I'm working on the cover for the solar panels, but that still has some bugs to work out.
Hobbes010@Spacey57 I haven't tried this part in acrylic yet. Some of my other models (like the Falcon 9 engines) aren't suitable for acrylic, their wall thickness is below the minimum needed for acrylic.
Hobbes010@coaltrain5371: I haven't done 1:48. I have experimented with 1:72, that one cost around €50 in FUD. At that scale, the flaws in the model started showing up. For 1:48 I'd need to redo most of the drawing.

Hi Stephen,
the parts I've made are all in the shop (https://www.shapeways.com/shops/acme?section=SpaceX+models&s=0). I haven't made a complete model; for the rocket body you need some 1" PVC pipe. More information in the instructions: http://www.shapeways.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=14981&start=0& and feel free to mail or message me if you have any questions.
