The third public evolution of the Animaris Geneticus Parvus. #7 has evolved legs, with pointy feet instead of flat. Featuring a fully working Theo Jansen mechanism as used in his work "the Rhinoceros".

The mechanism is printed assembled, and will work without further assembly right after birth from the printer.

A few tips to consider:

- After birth there might be a little powder left in some joints, or it might not go supersmooth. This will fix itself after the animal has a little bit of practice!

- Some surfaces work better than others. The legs require a little friction, and a flat surface. So for example: A rough table or floor, thin flat carpeting, or a thin rubber sheet. It will slip on a too smooth surface.

- The best way to push it is by its nameplate. Do not push down, but forward.

- The beest is light, but quite strong. It can actually be dropped without breaking. It is not a "toy" however, and not suitable for children. The 3D printer material is easy to stain so clean hands are advised.

A pendant for metal printing.  I have trouble believing that these are photos and not renders...something about this object feels very unlikely.

Both a tribute to ubiquitous, and lovely, hexagonal colour pencils, and a representation of what was coined by Joris Peels as 'combinatory manufacturing'.

Combine the connector piece with any set of 36 standard hexagonal pencils of about 7.0 mm cross section (measured at the smallest diameter). These types of sets are available around the world from many department stores and art supply stores - I’ve seen good sets for as little as 5 euro.

Examples of pencils that fit are Stabilo Aquacolor 1600, and Caran d’Ache Prismalo I, but there are many more. I’ve recently heard that in the US, Prismacolor Verithin Colored Pencils (available from Amazon and others) work well. Normal black pencils often have the same size and shape and can be used too.

My third attempt to 3d print a rpg miniature.
I've tried to have fun with the position and the balance of the model. Same as with my other models, i expect some serious detail loss, that's why I've put emphasis on the silhouette of each figure, to make them very distinguishable, even at this scale.

The ring is inspired on the game Elder Scrolls V Skyrim. The rights and intellectual property of the game belongs to Bethesda Softworks, which did a great job on creating the Elder Scrolls series.

The silver material is very bright and shiny. Some designs look much better when deeper parts are blackened. You can do this easily by yourself by putting the silver jewelry in a small glass with bleach for a few minutes. After it turns dark, you can polish it partial with a sponge or a towel.

This model is hollow so higher detail materials can be affordable.  To achieve this I had to make a TINY hole in the belly.  Don't bother ordering the "Strong and Flexible" materials, for a little bit more money the "Detail" materials are far superior!

  This dinosaur lived in the Late Cretaceous of South America along side Ekrixinatosaurus, Giganotosaurus and possibly Agustinia.

A whimsical play on the concept of ‘fools gold’, this 3D printed sculpture from Seedling is made from a stainless steel core which is then electroplated in real gold. This sculpture is based on fools gold (pyrite) a crystalline form of iron sulphide. If you already collect rocks or minerals, then this piece will be a welcome addition to your collection and a great talking point.

This is a hollow 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5cm dice with holes instead of dots and a 1.1cm ball on the inside. All of the edges (inner and outer) are rounded off to make them smoother. Please post comments about this item, I would like to hear your feedback. This item can only be made in plastic, due to its wall thickness of only 1mm. A thicker version for stainless steel and glass is on the way.

  This ring a little more decorated than Ring_01. Instead of all the little squares ordered in one direction, there is every other square one square added and turned 90 degrees.
