This is the Dino 3x3x3, a puzzle that combines the cuts from two classic puzzles: the Rubik's Cube and the Dino Cube. This puzzle took a lot of time to perfect. It was made based on the Rainbow 3x3x3, but two iterations were needed to get it correct. This version uses magnets to keep the parts in alignment. The magnets are not needed for the functionality of the puzzle but they make turning it and keeping everything aligned much easier.
The result is a puzzle that turns very nicely, with a gentle click from the magnets. This is truly one of the best turning puzzles I ever made.

This puzzle will arrive as a DIY kit containing just the plastic parts. You will need to supply your own screws and magnets, but I will send you a set of stickers separately if you send me an email after ordering. You will need 100 of these magnets to finish this puzzle.
Please take extreme care when gluing in the magnets so you get the polarity right. It's not difficult, you can email me for a failsafe method to determine the right polarity. Also note that gluing magnets to plastic is not easy, superglue works okay but you might end up having to reglue some magnets that did not stick properly.
You can also order a fully assembled, stickered copy of this puzzle with the magnets already glued in directly from me. Please send me an email if you are interested in this option.

Edge-Turning Octahedron
by Eitan (pirsquared)

This is part 1 of 3 for the Edge-Turning Octahedron. For a full puzzle, you must order all three parts. The total cost for the puzzle is $99.99.

This puzzle uses twelve M2 screws with length 12mm. You can order stickers from Oliver Nagy's sticker shop here: http://speedcubing.hu/webshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_41&products_id=338&zenid=d929341be760563c89a80f00b6b7eb72

If you do not want to dye the puzzle yourself, you can order in Black Strong & Flexible for a total of $119.57 by selecting that material from the materials list.

For now, I will not be offering assembled, dyed, and stickered copies of this puzzle as I simply do not have the time.

The Radio Cube 3 is a cubic transformation of Jason Smith's Radiolarian 3. It has icosahedral cut geometry, and it is slightly shallower-cut than my DeFTI (aka "Eitan's Star" soon to be released by MF8). To build this puzzle, you will need 20 flat-head M3 screws that are at least 12mm long (or the standard equivalent). You can buy stickers at Oliver's sticker shop: http://speedcubing.hu/webshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_41&products_id=386

Fracture-6 is a "bandaged" puzzle with three axes of rotation, based on the geometry of the triangular dipyramid. The three axes are located at each four-sided vertex. Every axis is capable of turning in 90 degree increments, but only when all four edges around that axis are pointing in the same direction. If the edges are not properly aligned the axis will be limited to 180 degree turns. This bandaging makes Fracture-6 very difficult to solve.

Fracture-6 comes as a DIY kit of parts, and you will need to supply your own stickers. The templates for the stickers are available in the instructions forum.

I recommend that unless you are familiar with the process of dyeing these parts, you purchase the puzzle in "Black Strong & Flexible". It costs a bit more than the white material, but it's worth it since the finished puzzle will look and work better. Fracture-6 also requires screws and springs to assemble. These can be purchased through a few different online puzzle sellers. The ones I used came from this shop. You'll need three screws and three springs.

Have fun!

Big Chop is a twisty puzzle like Rubik's Cube. It was named by Bram Cohen. The object of the puzzle is tor scramble the 120 pieces and try to turn them back. Twisty puzzle fans will be horrified to learn about the mechanism. There is a steel ball inside and all pieces have magnets that hold them around the ball. There is also a pedestal to support the puzzle. A special tool is needed to turn the puzzle.

The Master Curvy Copter is an edge-turning cube with two layers on each turning axis. I first presented this puzzle back in August 2010, and I have redesigned the mechanism several times since then. This mechanism is very stable, and rarely locks up.

To order this puzzle, add it to your cart, check out, and then email me your Order Number. (eitanspuzzleshop@gmail.com) Be sure to mention that you got the "Master Curvy Copter".

You can order stickers from Oliver Nagy here: http://speedcubing.hu/webshop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_41&products_id=335&zenid=88f5f2cbc17170175a2873bf982812b0

You will need twelve 4-40 5/8" or M3 16mm flat-head screws.

This puzzle was suggested by Andreas Nortmann. His explanation was as follows:
Andreas Nortmann wrote:I have just another stupid design request for you:
A hybrid of an OffsetSkewb and a HalfTurnsOnlyNxNxN.
The story behind it: You know there are 6 "traditional" (yet to be defined what that means here) possible axis systems and the hybrids thereof and there are some subgroups thereof, for example the cuboids where two axis allow only 180° turn to let the puzzle retain its shape. I have searched for other subgroups and have found:
* some trivial ones (with only 1 axis)
* several prisms
* the one mentioned aboveSo it's a hybrid of a 2x2x2 and an Offset Skewb. While such a puzzle could make 90 degree turns like some cuboids which can shapeshift, I have deliberately blocked those moves in the design, in order to accentuate the weird symmetry of the design and also, to make solving more difficult.
Mechanically, this puzzle is much simpler than a 2x2x2 + Skewb. I've made a few adjustments to make it turn better than the original prototype (which already turns quite good!).

This puzzle comes as DIY kit for which you need to supply your own stickers and screws (you need 7 M3 screws, about 10mm long). You can also purchase a fully assembled and stickered puzzle directly from me.

This is "set A". You will also need to purchase "Rhombic18 puzzle set B" for a complete puzzle. This is easiest to do by using the "Add Set to Cart" button below.

The Rhombic18 puzzle is a face and vertex turning rhombic dodecahedron with 18 axes of rotation. 12 axes go through the faces of the puzzle, and the other 6 axes go through the four-sided vertexes. Rhombic18 can also jumble if the faces are turned at less than 180 degrees.

Rhombic18 comes as a DIY kit of parts, and you will need to supply your own stickers. The templates for the stickers are available in the instructions forum.

I recommend that unless you are familiar with the process of dyeing these parts, you purchase the puzzle in "Black Strong & Flexible". It costs a bit more than the white material, but it's worth it since the finished puzzle will look and work better. Rhombic18 also requires screws and springs to assemble. These can be purchased through a few different online puzzle sellers. The ones I used came from this shop. You'll need two sets of screws (12 total).

Please be sure to also order "Rhombic18 puzzle set B", otherwise you will not have all the parts required! This is easiest to do by using the "Add Set to Cart" button below.

Have fun!

The Pentamid puzzle is based on the geometry of the pentagonal dipyramid. It turns on the five edges around the equator of the puzzle, as well as on the two polar vertices. Each vertex can turn in increments of 72 degrees, while the edges are limited to 180 degree turns. The Pentamid puzzle becomes scrambled fairly quickly with just a few turns.

The Pentamid puzzle comes as a DIY kit of parts, and you will need to supply your own stickers. The templates for the stickers are available in the instructions forum.

I recommend that unless you are familiar with the process of dyeing these parts, you purchase the puzzle in "Black Strong & Flexible". It costs a bit more than the white material, but it's worth it since the finished puzzle will look and work better. Pentamid also requires screws and springs to assemble. These can be purchased through a few different online puzzle sellers. The springs I used came from this shop. You'll need seven of the springs, combined with seven 12mm M3 screws, which you'll need to purchase separately.

Have fun!

OctoCube is a jumbling puzzle, and is essentially a shape-modification of a vertex turning "fracture sliced" triakis octahedron. It turns on six axes, one at each face of the puzzle. Each axis can be turned in 45 degree increments, but only when that face center shows eight-way symmetry. Otherwise axes are limited to 90 degree moves.

The OctoCube puzzle comes as a DIY kit of parts, and you will need to supply your own stickers. The templates for the stickers are available in the instructions forum.

I recommend that unless you are familiar with the process of dyeing these parts, you purchase the puzzle in "Black Strong & Flexible". It costs a bit more than the white material, but it's worth it since the finished puzzle will look and work better. OctoCube also requires six M3 x 6mm (up to 12mm will work) screws to assemble, which you'll need to purchase separately. You should not use springs, as they will allow the puzzle to pop apart too easily.

Please note that this model contains two extra small parts. These are backup as small parts can sometimes become lost in the manufacturing processes.

Have fun!
