An incredibly talented artist friend of mine (Chantell Hager; http://phantasyfaces.com/) drew some pictures of a dragon for me, so I might model this creature in 3D for fun and practice. Seeing as how it is a decently cool model, I thought I'd surprise her with a pendant of the model in return. This is a slight revision on my first Shapeways model. Some of the details that I had designed into the model were too small to show up in this size, so I revised the model to accentuate some of those features.
This pendant features a mobius style spiral that can enclose a 6mm ball which jingles and jangles when worn.
If you'd prefer a right hand spiral, please see; http://www.shapeways.com/model/169011
NOTE: Shapeways have decided that this model is unprintable with the ball enclosed. This model will take a 6mm steel ball which can be fitted by gently forcing open the spiral... see video. A 5mm ball is available here; http://www.shapeways.com/model/172759 or simply use a suitable (4.5mm-6mm) ball bearing.
This dragon ring design is available in half-sizes (U.S.) from 8 to 16 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_size). The ring is also available in half-sizes from 5 to 16 in silver materials. Whatever the size of the ring, they measure 3mm in thickness, and 8mm in depth.
