This is a game accurate replica of the Spanish Gold Coins that are featured Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. It was sculpted by me from in-game reference using ZBrush.
This listing is for one coin only.
NOTES ON THE PRINTS
I got test coins printed in Gold Plated Glossy, White Strong & Flexible and Frosted Ultra Detail. You can find pictures of the GPG and WSF version above, however it was near impossible to get a decent picture of the FUD version.
That said the detail on it is on par with the GPG version and definitely a step up on the WSF.
For me though the pick of them all is the Gold Plated Glossy, it came out far far better than I could have ever hoped, the detail is great and it has a really nice weight to it as well.

This ring is about Men's Ring Size 15+, after metal shrinkage. It fits the largest finger on my rather large hands without a problem.
(UPDATE: I've made some changes that should get around that printing error Shapeways is now giving. I'll test it as soon as I have the money to buy new prints)

Please use this template to order a customized signet ring. I can add in initials to one of the other symbols you see here, or create a new symbol to your specifications. Please note that the ring and the impression that it makes are mirror images of each other - letters that look right in an impression come from a signet engraved backwards.
If you are designing your own symbol, for best results please draw within a 3/4" diameter circle, and keep all lines at least 0.040" wide. This is roughly equivalent to drawing with a dull pencil. If your idea doesn't meet these guidelines, please send a private message to verify that it is within material limits, as there are some tricks I can do to bend the design rules under certain conditions.
Caution: remove signet rings from your hand before using to make an impression. The ring will get hot. Please be careful to avoid burns when using hot wax.
Quality sealing wax is available through our main website.
In some rare instances, Shapeways stainless steel rings have caused a reaction called "tea staining." This is a (not permanent) brown mark on the skin caused by a chemical reaction with the bronze binder. So far only one customer has reported this, and research shows that it depends on skin chemistry - some people always get it, most people never do. Some solutions for people concerned with this are coating the skin contact area with clear nail polish, gold plating, or getting the ring made in silver.
New contest: send in photos of our seals and rings "in the wild" and win free wax if we use them! Showing the product clearly and creativity are strongly encouraged. By submitting photos, you grant Lightbringer Designs LLC the non-exclusive right to use it as we see fit, you will get photo credit. Private message for details.

Your text will be engraved on the external surface of the ring and a dedication will be engraved on the inside. The text is placed around the ring in a helix pattern, so that it can be read by simply revolving it in one direction.
