The Glowcone is a unique decorative light with a focus on movement. Although many lighting concepts are beautiful, the majority are fairly static. By turning the handle on the top of the Glowcone, the 'scales' will unfurl to reveal its glowing core. You can adjust the scales to the position you find most pleasing! The Glowcone can be left sitting on its base or hung from its handle.

The Glowcone is not just a concept, it is a fully realised product. Although the majority of the assembly is printed in one piece, additional components are separate to allow for integration of the lighting circuit. The circuitry itself is built by the designer (Cradders) and is easily slotted into the Glowcone assembly. No solder or stress required! The battery that powers the Glowcone is easily removable and an ergonomic switch is built into the base to turn it on and off. Simple, easy to follow instructions are provided.

The photographs in the gallery above show the level of light you should expect from the Glowcone. As the name suggests, this version of the Glowcone is not a product that can light up an entire room! It glows like a candle rather than illuminating like a torch.
