A delightful surface: the gyroid put through a simple inverse transformation. It's ellipsoidal on the outside, and there is a sphere taken out of the center, which is difficult to see; for otherwise it would be infinitely tiny inside, and therefore unprintable.

It arrived in WSF, and it works for real :-)
Gear system based on hypotrochoid shapes.
It is printed as a 9 piece puzzle, a VERY frustrating one at that ;-)

Depending on the print batch, it might need some minor sanding to make it run properly.

Steel available on request, still untested by me.
I think steel will work but probably needs some more sanding to make it fit.
With the new pricing scheme, the steel version is no longer available.
If you want one in steel, please send me a message and we will find a way.

Size 8, 18.54 mm inner diameter. This six-part puzzle ring is a design by Bram Cohen. Bram writes: "This six-banded design is a straightforward extension to the traditional four-banded design which somehow never occurred to anybody before me".

A delicate free form model dubbed "Holey".

Makes for some nice Christmas decorations :-)

Minimum thickness is around 0.25 mm on the inside struts.
Prints perfectly in Strong & Flexible, might get bend a bit during transport, but you can bend it back gently if you hold it in warm/hot water.
The tips are sharp and fragile, so please handle with care.

A third order 3D Hilbert curve with 1mm thickness & clearance. 2/8 blocks are rotated so that it forms a loop instead of an open curve. See http://www.shapeways.com/model/111039/tiny_hilbert_cube_variation__1_5mm.html for a 1.5 mm version and http://www.shapeways.com/model/109525/ for a 4th order version.

This project makes use of the intricate geometries and flexible behaviours that are possible with 3d-printed polyamide - holding 111 five-eurocent coins firmly in place to create a stunning necklace. E 5.55 is currently available as a DIY project. Start saving coins now - it’s half the fun. Alternatively, many banks can provide you with those rolls of 5 eurocent coins that you need, at a small cost. A fully assembled version of E 5.55 will be available from michielcornelissen.com soon. Mail me at michiel(at)michielcornelissen(dot(com for wholesale possibilities. Copper can oxidize and become darker over time - which can actually give a great look. If you prefer lighter, shinier coins, there’s an easy - and fun! - way to clean them. Snap the coins out of the necklace, and submerge them in vinegar (you can add table salt, too) for a few minutes. Stir well, to make sure plenty of vinegar gets everywhere. Rinse the coins in hot water, and dry them. It’s magic. The necklace itself can be cleaned with water and soap and even dish-washed, after removing the coins. Each product ordered is individually manufactured, just for you. If you are new to the Shapeways site: to order, you'll be asked to create an account (it's easy; you can even log in with Facebook or Twitter). Product ships in basic Shapeways packaging. For more information about my work, visit www.michielcornelissen.com; if you have any feedback or questions on this item, please feel free to contact me directly at michiel(at)michielcornelissen(dot)com. Dragonscale Chain Maille (mail) sampler.

Large rings are 18mm OD 2mm 'wire', the small rings are 12mm OD 1mm 'wire'. With the large aspect ratios of the rings, this is quite a loose weave with plenty of flexibility. This sample patch comprises of 86 rings in all with no joins!.

Not only a visual statement of manhood, this ring doubles as a measuring tool . . .

• find yourself needing a tape measure when it's not on your person?

• Need to quickly measure a line or the size of a box?

Look no further than, "One Inch"!

Act now. . .

. . . and you'll wish you'd of waited, 'cause I'm going to make a couple of updates that will render this little fella a necessity to all, for example:

• a click and a little resistance at each inch
• additional sizes. ( This is sized: 8)

Convolution is a seven piece serially interlocking puzzle designed by Stewart Coffin, probably the greatest ever puzzle designer. Stewart has generously placed his designs in the public domain, so I am delighted to present my own interpretation of this lovely puzzle. I made my first copy out of wood over 25 years ago and it is still one I go back to periodically. One of the moves includes a rotation and every move locks the next piece into the previous one.
The pieces of the puzzle are composed of juxtaposed hollow cubelets using a new design. This gives the whole puzzle a lightness and slight flexibility. It also means that the pieces fit snugly together. The whole puzzle is 4 x 4 x 4 cm in size and relatively inexpensive for a printed puzzle of this size.

This 3D shape was created using mathematical equations.  The equations are put into an Open Source software called k3Dsurf.org (one of the Demos in the software).  Then the mesh was improved using FreeCAD .  Lastly, this shape was uploaded into Shapeways to be printed.  You could make it yourself, upload it, and then
