Friday Finds: Curate our Homepage
For this week's Friday Finds we want to introduce community curation. Our homepage is where we highlight models we love, now we're opening it up for you to show us your favorites! As of next week, our homepage is going to be YOUR space. So we want to see your finds! See below for instructions.
To kick us off, here's my "White Theme."
First off, this incredible flexible woven cup from VertigoPolka.
Next up, the Claw, a useful syringe-like grabber from Naxem
Speaking of useful, these calculus surfaces help visualize mathematics at Swinburne University in Australia

Here's some guidelines:
Pick 8-12 models and favorite them. You must have at least 8 as that is how many slots are on the homepage!
You can select one of your own models of course, but try to stick to just one
Optional but encouraged: Pick a theme - whether it be trains or a special occasion, a theme helps to bring a sense of style to the page.
Email natalia@shapeways.com with your list of selections - please include the URL links to the product pages and to YOUR shop as well, so we can highlight you!
We will select the best curations to feature on the homepage.

Friday Finds: 3D Printed Designs from the Shapeways Community
Happy Friday everyone! And what a Friday it is...we're thrilled to be back online. For this week's Friday Finds, we have a selection of planetary 3D printed finds to remind us that some things still remain outside our control.
Moon with surface detail by Stefshop. NASA satellites got nothing on these details.
Earth Moon Mars to scale (50 mm / 2" globe) by jayfisher. A beautiful rendition that would have been perfect for all those science projects.
Orrery by Whystler, who explains that this orrery is a fully functional model of the 4 terrestrial planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. He notes, "Ideal for planning your next interplanetary voyage on your star-galleon."

Friday Finds: 3D Printed Designs From the Shapeways Community
Happy Friday Shapies! For this week's Friday Finds, we have a selection of puzzles! Who doesn't love a good puzzle?
Twisty Burr Puzzle by Steve Marshall, is consists of a 2x2x2 twisty puzzle on the inside that is only solved when the outer shell pieces fit around it. So neat!
30 Cell Puzzle by Henry Segerman, the goal is to assemble the 5 identical pieces shown in the first picture into the ring-like structure shown in the image below it. We absolutely love the intricate detail and mathematical nature of this puzzle!
Cryptex Style Puzzle Box by Elysium Emporium, inspired by the novel The Da Vinci Code. We can't believe how similar it looks to marble!
