AMF: A Better File Format for 3D Printing?

But how long before any software supports it and how long before Shapeways can offer it? I think it will all take a will to get it too work together...

Agreed. I would love to hear when Shapeways plans to use this... although it's not really up to them it's the third party printing companies whose machines need to be able to process the new format...
