Whenever we talk to our community, your number one request is always: 'Can I get it faster?'. And we're listening! We have been working hard on streamlining our processes and optimizing our machines for speed.
As a first result we are now able to deliver White Strong & Flexible products to you faster than ever: your products will now ship in 6 business days instead of 8!
For now, we offer this faster shipping time for 'basic' WSF (not polished or dyed), and for models with all axes < 20cm. All other models in Strong & Flexible Plastic will still ship in 12 business days.
We're working hard to reduce the delivery times for all our materials, so long as we don't sacrifice quality or reliability. So stay tuned, we will have more good news coming your way next week!
Just curious, but is it possible for your powder supplier to provide coloured powder? I think it may produce better results than dyeing and would facilitate polishing, carving and maybe some other post-print processes.
(Yes, I know you'd have to dedicate specific machines to specific colours to prevent cross contamination, etc. I'm not expecting it any time soon, but it may be a possibility for future consideration.)
"Crania anatomica" by JoshuaHarker, Kidmechano's "Modibot", "Mobius Net" by Bathsheba,
"Roaring Tiger" by Dotsan, and another of Bathsheba's works, "Gyroid". The phone
case is probably cinemo's "Iphone 4/4S case MacPro"
Not that many more things in the mix, unless EOS has not published them on their website.
(I see fire retardant, carbon fiber and glass sphere reinforced, but no colors except black, which is probably just carbon (soot). Most likely any dyes would not withstand both the process temperature and being zapped by a laser)
We are aware that there are companies that offer colored SLS powder, but using colored powder has its own set of complexities and issues. It would require a lot of testing to onboard these powders, but it is on our radar as we explore ways to improve our SLS offerings.
The new delivery times will apply to all orders that started production on the 18th, and the fastest model always determines delivery time. Sometimes we have some excess capacity, allowing us to produce parts faster. Once all parts of your order are done, we'll ship it.
