Google Plus is Google's online social media platform where you can interact with others and find people of similar interests talking about interesting topics. A Google Hangout is a multi-person live video chat. On Fridays, Shapeways members and members of the public will join up, chat with each other and ask questions of the Shapeways engineers and staff. When you do a Google hangout, the video gets recorded automatically and saved to your youtube account, where you can publish it if you wish.
