We have already received some very impressive entries so the bar has been set quite high but it is always worth entering because there is always room for more awesomeness and hey, if it does not win it still might sell if you have it for sale in your Shapeways shop....

Upload a new design to Shapeways with the tag iPhone5_3D by 5pm EST Friday October 19th 2012.
Upload a description of your design specifying the use/context.
Make it awesome.

This is a great contest, but it kind of sucks that though I have an item I'd like to enter, I haven't even received it myself yet (it will be shipped to me by Oct. 19th). So I'll enter it, but I won't be able to test it or even take pictures of it, people won't get to see what it looks like just from the default renders
Kinda forces people to make models available without pre-testing them.
As this is a contest launched before anyone had their hands on the iPhone 5 we are ok with it being a concept. We may even print a few of the entries and test them out, take some photos so that the designers can use them in their shop with the Shapeways 3D Printed stamp of approval.
