Furniture and Butter Knives: How To Assemble a 3D Printed Chair

As Shapeways prepares for an exhibition of 3D Printed products to be held at Material Connexion in New York we were lucky to have Chris Hardy allow us to 3D print his Cesca Chair interpretation to include in the show.

Of course although we used the most advanced technology to fabricate the 3D printed components it still takes a little assembly to attach the seat and back to the chrome plated steel frame.

As we say at Shapeways, 'Made with lasers, Assembled with love' or a butter knife, or both.

I dont know if its comfortable, but this stuff have a good style for chairs.
