As you can imagine the cleaning process of the machines and parts is quite intensive to ensure all toxic nastiness is removed from machines and prints, but still kinda cool... So, what would YOU do if you had access to this material?
This has been an avenue I have been researching for a medical design. It isn't easy finding somewhere cheap to prototype in this arena, having to sometimes opt for a 'substandard' material which would then need to be sterilised to the point of damaging the structure.
It isn't always the issue of the material 'standard' itself, but also the handling and storage conditions to avoid extraneous deposition of possible contagions/allergens/toxins (don't sneeze!).
Personally, if this material came online I would use it instead of the casting and forming I have to do now.
