Hi Kegan, and welcome.

Nice to see you like interlocked shapes (if one day your fascination goes from interlocked cubes to interlocked dodecahedra, please, let me know :-) ).

As you are working in the delivery process from NYC, I was wondering if you could give us some clarifications about the "shipped dc ny" order status we can sometimes see in the order overview Excel file... More details here: http://www.shapeways.com/forum/index.php?t=msg&th=6167&start=0&
Regards,

Magic

Hey Magic,

I like it, will do! In regards to the shipping statuses, and confusion being caused. "Shipped DC NY" means the part has shipped from the Netherlands to our DC in NYC. We then ship it out from there to you. In the coming months, as we build out our production/distribution in the US, this status will probably disappear since parts will ship direct. Let me know if that makes sense!

Cheers

Kegan

Yes, that makes sense. Virtox told there is also a "shipped dc eindhoven" status, I suppose this is the opposite.
So one bug to fix is that we are not supposed to receive a notification e-mail in case of an "internal" shipping, I guess.
Thanks for the clarification.
