Arrrrghhhh I've been holding off on updating to the 4 cause I know as soon as I update the next will come out just like a month after I got my 3GS. Now I want to 4 NOW

That is a hard call. At this point in time it's a matter of if you can wait four months or so. Good luck with that decision. Keep in mind though that the app designer probably wont have a great export right off, as most technology does, it will get better with time.

Well from what I've read, both Verizon and AT&T will have a 4G iPhone sometime next year. By then I'll also be closer to my upgrade so less of a fee.

Awesome !!
Yet freaky lol - thanks for blogging it for us !

My business gears started working now and here is my idea: (Pete ?)

Shapeways business development rep. should contact the developer of this App to add and option "3D print it in full color @" and have the file automatically sent to shapeways special order page - with all the customer's info - and after payment is done, the face gets 3D printed and shipped to customer via UPS.

This is a win-win for both sides - developer gets Shapeways PR machine working for him plus a markup for every print & Shapeways gets a new vast market and publicity !

It does start the business gears working. At the moment the resolution isn't very high, so I'd personally want to tweak imperfections or add detail. One of these days it'll be as easy as the press of a button.
