We’re excited to announce our partnership with Sixense MakeVR, a virtual reality software that enables anyone to create 3D-printable objects by using wireless gesture-control devices with natural hand motions. Sixense MakeVR software will make it easier for people to create 3D designs and print 3D objects. MakeVR is integrated with Shapeways so you can order your designs directly from the MakeVR interface and have your designs 3D printed from Shapeways. 

Sixense is currently doing a Kickstarter crowd funding campaign to raise money for MakeVR. What’s very unique about MakeVR is that it has both the software and hardware that makes designing, creating, and accessing 3D printing more engaging and intuitive. It enables consumers to create 3D designs that look professionally done.
