Today we are excited to show you a fresh new design for our category pages. As we grow and bring more people to our site, we want to make sure that they are able to find all the amazing 3D printed products designed by our community!
We’ve made a new header to help everyone understand the products in each category with a big beautiful image and description. By improving the shopping experience on Shapeways and helping everyone understand what makes these products unique, we’re also hoping to get more exposure for your amazing designs.
As for products, well, there are a lot more of them on each page now! In addition to showing more of the products you love, we’ve also added lists of our favorite products and the bestsellers in each product category to the top of the page. We are excited to show off the high quality products that the community has invested so much time and effort into creating.
We’re always on the lookout for high-quality products from our community to feature. If you have seen or created a product that is awesome let us know by tagging @Natalia or @Duann using the @mentions in the comments on the product page.
So many great designs makes it hard to choose but now it’s getting easier to spit through all the magic and find the diamonds, great work 😀
How do I find similar items not in category shown?
Not clear, is it? Since the link shown is http://www.shapeways.com/art I guess you could replace the ‘art’ with the category of your choice. But while these pages exist they do not seem to have set up the links to them anywhere.
Also, imo, no real improvement on what went before, just different. Looking at the Art page some designers get a lot more appearances than others. Plus no preference is given to photos over renders.
It’s going to be ending of mine day, however before ending I am reading this fantastic paragraph to increase my knowledge.
What the heck is a mortgage? how long can a mortgage take to
payoff in the UK?
On the “Mathematical Art” page, the names “möbius” and “klein” should be capitalised. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/August_Ferdinand_M%C3%B6bius, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Klein.)
