This weeks designer is an Australian artist working for festivals and theater, specializing in 3D printing and digital clay technology. Rob Mack's shop is getting our Mardi Gras (and costumes for any occasion, really) spirit ready.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? Where are you located? I’m Rob Mack, aka DaddyMack, I live in Sydney Australia and have been lucky enough to have worked as an artist/designer in a wide variety of media for over 25 years now. I started painting murals and signage for local businesses and at one stage ran my own 500m2 warehouse producing props and artwork for festivals and theatre. My work is now largely digital with a focus on 3D, 3D printing, and digital clay technology.
This week, we highlight designer Rose Thun, a tech girl after our own hearts, her shop is full of "infinite love" designs, as well as some great geometric but useful products we can't help but love.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? Where are you located? I’m a materials scientist, MBA, IT consultant, maker, sculpture garden junkie who lives in Maryland and has become a complete 3D printing fanatic.
This week we highlight a veteran of Shapeways, Vincent Greco. He's been with us since 2008 and has a shop full of possibilities, materials, and imagination that we hope will inspire old and new members alike.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? Where are you located? My name is Vincent Greco, known here as Magic. I am located at Vincennes a city touching Paris in France. I have a background of software engineering and I am currently working in the video game industry. I am one of the oldest Shapeways community members (since August 2008). 3D-printing is more than a passion for me: it’s an addiction!
