Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer currency. Peer-to-peer means that no central authority issues new money or tracks transactions. These tasks are managed collectively by the network.
If anyone is using Bitcoin I would love to hear your thoughts, and maybe in the future you can pay Goebat for his ring using Bitcoin?
