Prior to Shapeways, Peter worked closely with designing and developing satellite broadband modems both as the CTO of Sangine and the Director of Engineering at Aramiska. Additionally, he served as ICT Manager for Not a Number and facilitated the adoption of the successful open source 3D software Blender.

Mike Senese, along with teaching science and heading design and manufacturing coverage at Wired, is a TV star. He has co-hosted a variety of shows on Discovery and Science Channel networks, including Catch It Keep It, Fuse TV’s Rock and Roll Acid Test, and How Stuff Works. He hopes to inspire creation with his DIY website.

With
extensive backgrounds and experiences in the industry, these two are
sure to provide interesting perspective on the Industrial
Revolution 3.0, touching on topics such as collaborative design, open
source, the limitations of mass manufacturing and the unique perks of
digital fabrication. If you’re interested in the maker movement, this
wont be a conversation you’ll want to miss!
