W00t! (Never thought I'd say that). For big object printing like I do, the color sandstone is significantly more affordable! %25 cheaper - celebrate!

The shipping charges were a nasty surprise when I went to order a model for a customer this morning and found that I was going to lose $6.50 from the price I quoted.

Is it correct that I am being charged VAT on shipping cost as well? I am in the UK so I was expecting to pay the $9.50 shipping price thats been advertised from now on, instead its costing $11.31?

All prices are advertised ex VAT. For us Brits in the EU, Netherlands VAT @ 19% should be added onto the total for your order (better than our 20% VAT or getting stitched for customs duties + taxes). Also, it's worth checking out the PayPal exchange rates for euros & $ against the £ (mostly the $ comes in slighty cheaper)

Yeah I knew that VAT would be put on top of the price per cm3, just wasn't expecting it on the shipping cost. Oh well.

Thanks for the reply.

I believe that advertising prices without VAT to consumers inside the Netherlands is technically not legal. I can understand that if you don't specify your country when visiting the site you don't see the VAT-inclusive prices, but in this case where the country/EU is specifically listed it would suit them to just include VAT in the price (even if that means having an extra pricing tier for the Netherlands). Or at least put some fine print next to it.
