Make the Co-Creator request

  • Open a shop

  • Go to your My Designs page, click the model you want to turn into a template and click the "Go" button on the right.

  • You will find your Template in your 'My Design' section where you can manage and edit the settings. Templates can be recognized by the wrench key button.

Add the adjustable variables

  • Now click on your template and set your variables. You can add a maximum of 3 variables with supporting explanations. There is also a free text field if your variables need additional explanations.


  • Add text to explain and showcase your design & template in the free text field. You will also find a link to contact your buyer if you need direct communication.

  • Fill out your production time. Please remember that you commit yourself to these lead times. The customer expects the model to arrive in time and both our and your brand will suffer if this does not occur. You will get reminder emails of templates that have yet to be finished. Also you can choose to temporarily disable a template if you go on vacation.

  • Set your maximum volume. As the customer already pays before you start modeling and the price is based on the size of the model, we need to think about volume. Depending on the model, the volume of the customized item can vary and we need to know this beforehand. Therefore, we ask you to enter the maximum volume that any resulting template could be. Please try to calculate what the largest volume of any model that could be made with your template could be. So, if you allow up to 5 letters and R is the most voluminous letter, than the volume of your template with 5 R's in it would be your max volume. The number that you fill in is the resulting maximum volume that the template could be. A second reading should make everything in the above sentences clearer. This maximum volume will then be the price of your model.

Interact with your customer

  • Your 'My Designs' page will show a to do list once a buyer has placed an order. It shows the person who ordered the model including a link to contact him through a personal message. The template information includes the variables you have to customize and the number of days remaining to design the model.

Upload the adjusted template

  • When you have re-designed the model, upload the adjusted template with the input your customer sent you to the 'to do items details'.


  • Now your buyer will receive a message that the finished template has been uploaded and sent to to us for 3D printing.

  • Sit back after all your hard work and enjoy the fact that you are a true co-creator! The way to go is to refer everybody to your Shop. Spread the word about your great service to customize your design to the specifications of the admirers of your work. Share the link on Facebook, and tell your friends, relatives.
